Structure of the Session

9.15am -Free play & craft activities

‘Free play’ provides children with an opportunity to practice new skills, develop imagination and interact with others. Teddybears promotes ‘free play’ by providing a high quality environment with a wide range of toys to support all areas of child development.

During the session craft activities are available for children to explore, these are a great opportunity to try something new with your child and have some fun!

10.15amSnack time

Children have the opportunity to sit together around the snack table and are offered water/juice, fruit/veg and a biscuit. Emma or Kate will say hello to each of the children, it is an informal and sociable time.

10.30am Free play & craft activities

10.50amTidy up time

Parents/carers alongside Emma, Kate and Sarah support the children to put the toys away before the singing session. This helps children to take responsibility and work as a team.

11amSinging/Games

This part of the morning is all about having fun! Children enjoy a range of action songs and/or games.

11.15amGoodbye song

This brings the session to an end

Parents/Carers Refreshments

Feel free to help yourself to a complimentary tea/coffee. Please make sure that hot drinks remain on the stage to ensure the safety of all the children.

Toilets/nappy changing

There are potties and nappy changing facilities within the toilets – we just ask that parents/carers take their children’s nappies away with them (nappy bags provided)

We hope to see you at Teddybears Playgroup soon!
