100. COTTINGHAM ROAD. Newland Wesleyan chapel. Built 1857-8 on the corner of Newland Avenue at a cost of £600. Designed by William Botterill in Gothic style. Seating for 200. Closed in 1900 when school-chapel built opposite. Building used by Port of Hull Society until c.1962. Chapel demolished 1966. Site occupied by German Lutheran Church and pastor's house.
