St. Clement's Church, Hull

St. Clement's Church, Hull
105. ST. PAUL'S STREET. St. Clement's Anglican church. A mission church of St. Clement in the parish of St. Paul, Sculcoates was opened in 1879, a new wooden mission room being opened in 1881. The church was used as a chapel-of-ease for many years but was never replaced by a permanent building although a church with an interior of Byzantine appearance was planned. After the church was closed the wooden building was demolished in 1937. The site is now lost under housing. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
