10. MANOR ALLEY. A Baptist congregation founded in 1736 met in the tower of the former de la Pole Manor house until 1757. Taken over by Methodists in 1757 who demolished tower and built Manor Alley chapel on site in 1771. Replaced by George Yard in 1791. Used as a bonding warehouse in 1864 and demolished in early 20th century. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
