125. HOLDERNESS ROAD. Presbyterian church. Built 1874. Designed by W.H. Kitching in Gothic style. Of red brick with yellow-brick and stone dressings. Seating for 1100. Damaged by bombing in 1941 and services continued in adjoining Sunday school until 1949. Church demolished June 1972. Site now The Green Man public house which incorporates former schoolroom.
