126. HOLDERNESS ROAD. Bright Street Primitive Methodist chapel. Opened 1864. Designed by Joseph Wright in Italianate style. Centre block had six Corinthian pilasters. Built of red and white brick with stone dressings at a cost of £5,116. Seating for 1,200 (1881). Damaged by bombing in 1941. Derelict in 1954 and demolished 1959-60. Site now a car showroom.
