Chapel, Hull

 Chapel, Hull
133. STONEFERRY ROAD. St. Saviour's Anglican church. The church was consecrated in 1903 to serve a district assigned in 1904 from the parishes of Sutton and St. Mark. The permanent church designed by Brodrick, Lowther and Walker replaced an iron building dedicated in 1898, which survived as the church hall until both were demolished in 1981. Built in red brick with terracotta dressings in Early English style. The site, on the north side of Foster Street, has recently been used as a trailer park. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
