142. HEDON ROAD. Primitive Methodist chapel. Built in 1894 at a cost of £1,100 with seating for 380. Designed by W.A. Gelder. Brick with Gothic detailing to doors and windows. It replaced a smaller building at the rear which had been built in 1877. Destroyed by bombing in 1941. Industrial building now on the site. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
