24. SOUTH STREET. Baptist chapel built privately in 1840. Used by various denominations including Baptists, Primitive, Methodist New Connexion and Wesleyan Reformers, until 1866 when Baptists from Salthouse Lane moved there. Seating for 800. Closed 1903.
