29. MILL STREET. West Street Primitive Methodist chapel. Built 1819 at cost of £1,700. Seating for 790. First Primitive building in Hull. Set back in a yard. Simple two storey three bay building with pedimented gable. Galleried interior. Closed 1910. Building then used as a dance hall. Destroyed by bombing in 1941.
