St. Barnabas's Church, Hull
63. HESSLE ROAD. St. Barnabas Anglican church. The church was consecrated in 1874 and assigned its own district from Holy Trinity in that year. The site was given by Henry Strickland Constable and the buildng was designed by Samuel Musgrave. Red stock brick with stone dressings in Early English style. The church was closed in 1970 and subsequently demolished. The site near the Fishermen's Memorial, on the corner of South Boulevard is now occupied by housing.
