65. BOULEVARD. St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic church built 1896 at cost of £3,000. Designed in Gothic style by Smith, Brodrick and Lowther. Destroyed by landmine in March 1941. Replaced by new church in 1956. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
