66. GORDON STREET. Boulevard Baptist church. Built in 1903, at cost of £12,000, to replace South Street. Designed by T.B. Thompson in Gothic style, of yellow brick with red-brick dressings. Demolished early 1970's. Prefabricated church built on site. Adjoining Sunday School and Institute of 1904 survive on Gordon Street. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
