68. ST. GEORGES ROAD. (Beecroft Street). Small Primitive Methodist chapel built 1873 designed by William Freeman in Gothic style. Cost £850, seating for 200. New larger chapel also by William Freeman built alongside in 1889-90. Cost £3,646, seating for 650. Earlier chapel became schoolroom. A further large schoolroom was added in 1898 to designs of T.
