76. ANLABY ROAD. Newington Presbyterian church. Built 1893 on south east corner of Lonsdale Street to replace Walton Street mission hall. Italianate facade designed by W.A. Gelder. Sold 1961 and demolished 1964. Site now shops with offices above. Schoolroom designed by T.B. Thompson c.1911 survives behind as Lonsdale Community Centre. [The Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull]
