Will of James Whitekers, of Farnley, clerk [Vol. 19, Fol. 528], dated 9 September 1573: Body to
be buried in parish church of Leeds. To my good mr., Sir Thomas Danbie, 4l., the which Thomas
Sandie, of Leeds, doth owe to me. Also I will that Robert Wrose, of Bramley, shall pay to Agnes
Tattersall, my sister daughter, that 7l, he oweth me. To the said Agnes that xls. which Richard
Saxton, of Tong, doth owe to me. To the wife of John Grame, xs., which she oweth me.
Christopher Midgley, clerk, William Walker, and Richard Chapman, executors. Witnesses -
Thomas Walker, George Ferneley, and Thomas Grene. Proved at York 1 October 1573.
