Will of George Foxcrofte, of the Barrgrange, in the parish of Leeds, yoman [Reg. Test. 23, Fol. 489]
dated 17 May 1587; proved 9 August 1587: - To my nephew, Marke F., and his assigns, my
interest in a close called Lenge Holme, near the west end of Christall brige, in my occupation, for
the term of years unexpired; he paying unto Augustyne Smith, son of George S., of Long Preston,
in Craven, 30s., at my house at Barrgrange, on St. Michaell's day the Archangel. Isabel, my wife,
one moiety of my goods [the lease above-mentioned excepted] and 15£. To said Mark F., one
flowered candlesticke hanging in the inner parlour, and two candlesticks in the house. Niece,
Isabel F., 40s. Other bequests. Rest to nephews, Thomas F., of Newegrange, and Marke F.,
who I make executors. Witnesses: - John Brotherhead, Thomas Bromehead, Thomas Savill,
George Hudsonne, Thomas Hincheclyfe.
