Transmitter Type T1083

The T1083 and R1082 were a step on from the T21C and Receiver TF.
Both units had plug-in Coil Sets for band changing - but while the Receiver coils could be contained in a small 'suitcase', the Transmitter MO and PA coils each had their individual carry boxes. The overall frequency coverages were: 136 kc/s to 500 kc/s and 3Mc/s to 15Mc/s for the transmitter; 111 kc/s to 15 Mc/s for the Receiver
The Transmitter required 8V for its LT; its HT was provided by an 80 watt generator. The Power Output (from a VT25 PA) was 30 watts.
The Receiver had a 2V 20Ah accumulator for its LT; HT was provided by a 120V battery. There was no grid bias.
