Receiver Type R-444/APR-4Y.

This receiver was part of the AN/APR-4 equipment which was used to detect and analyse enemy radar transmissions during WWII.
It covered the 40-4,000Mc/s range using 5 plug-in tuning units. This unit is Serial No. 1866.
